Top 10 Actors Who Are No Longer Apart Of The MCU

What’s up Youtube, welcome back to Top 10
Beyond the Screen. I’m your host Joce and before I get started
with today’s exciting list make sure you follow us on our social media pages which
are linked down below. SO- I was one of the lucky humans that were
able to catch the early VIP screening of the much anticipated Avengers Endgame movie, just
last night. With that being said, this video DOES have
a lot of spoilers so if you haven’t seen it yet, LOOK AWAY! It was a very exciting day yesterday but also
a very sad one in the MCU. Like we’ve had to say goodbye to characters
in the past, and today, we will have to do the same to some of our favourite characters. Let’s That’s why today I’m sharing the
Top 10 Actors Who Are No Longer Apart of The MCU. Some people we’ve already said goodbye to,
but spoiler alert, some of them will have their final performance today. Let’s get started. 10) Starting off our list at number 10 is
Chris Hemsworth, also known as Thor. Yes, it is the end of an era for a lot of
our favourite Avengers and Thor is one of them. In March of 2019, it was reported that the
superhero wouldn’t be making his return to the MCU after Avengers: Endgame. At the end of the movie we saw a tribute to
Chris and his character as Thor which was our first indication that this really was
the end for him. During an interview he admitted that his contract
with Marvel was up in 2019. Mall of his fans are hoping he would renew
his contract but he admitted that his character returning to the MCU for Avengers 5 is very
unlikely. 9) At number nine we have Jeremy Renner, or
as we know him, Hawkeye. Another iconic hero we won’t be seeing in
the MCU anymore. Fans are thrilled that he made his return
in Avengers: Endgame, and a big return at that. While he was shooting he took some behind
the scene photos to social media which had people wondering just how much he would be
involved in this movie. He played a huge part in the movie’s plot
and by the end of the story; you know that his superhero days are over. Even AFTER he retired, he came back for one
final fight. And after losing his family once, he will
never take that risk again. During an interview in 2014, Renner told The
Daily Beast in an interview that, I quote, “I signed on to The Avengers 1-3 and then
Hawkeye, in case they want to do a Hawkeye spinoff”. As for his solo movie, reports have stated
that if there is one, it might not feature Renner. During April’s Produced by 2018 conference,
Digital LA tweeted that Marvel Studios president Kevin Fi-gy is working on different incarnations
of characters you know. If that’s what ends up happening I think
there will be some irritated Marvel fans; no one can replace Jeremy Renner, am I right? 8) Swiping the number 8 spot is Michael B.
Jordan, also known as Black Panther. None of us needed convincing that he did an
amazing job playing the part. He won great reviews for his performance and
some say he pretty much stole the movie from the lead Chadwick Boseman. However, in the Black Panther movie, his fate
was unfortunately death. He and T’Challa battled to the end, and
even when he had a chance to accept aid that might save his life, he refused. The death of the villain would conclude his
story so it’s safe to say that he won’t be in the MCU anymore. Although at the MTV Movie and TV Awards in
June 2018, he did say he would reprise his role if there was a story that called for
it. For now, it’s unfortunate, but his character
is a goner. 7) At number 7 we have Tom Hiddleston, known
for his beloved character Loki. His character died in the last Avengers movie,
Infinity War, but many fans were skeptical if his character would somehow make a return. We did see him for a quick moment in a time
travel scene in Avengers Endgame, which people in the theater went absolutely mental about. But, he didn’t play a part in this movies
story. Unfortunately, there was no epic return like
people were hoping. However, there is some good news. Loki may be gone from the MCU, but you can
still catch him on the new Disney + streaming service that’s coming out later this year. It was confirmed in November 2018 that there
will be a live-action series centered around Loki, with Tom Hiddleston playing the part
of course. Although we won’t be seeing him on Marvel’s
big screen, we can still watch him from home on Disney +. 6) Coming in at number 6 is Don Cheadle, known
for playing War Machine. He could have a cameo appearance in Falcon
and Winter Soldier’s series on the Disney + streaming service, but War Machine getting
a solo film or an invite into a future Marvel ensemble doesn’t seem very likely. Like our other original Avengers, this last
movie was the end of an era for his character. In Avengers Endgame, his character wasn’t
relevant enough to kill off where it would have some massive implications. He did play a big part in this final movie
as the original 6 Avengers teamed up one last time to take down Thanos, but this final battle
really was the final one for Cheadle. 5) Half way through at number 5 we have Michael
Douglas, the original Hank Pym, or Ant-Man as we know it. He was selected to play Hank Pym in 2015’s
Ant-Man, but instead, he was shown as being retired and mentoring Scott Lang to take over
for him as Ant-Man. That’s why we now know Paul Rudd as the
new Ant-Man. While the majority of leading actors in the
MCU signed multi-picture deals, Douglas didn’t. He told Yahoo Movies in 2015, I quote, “I’m
not signed up to anything more”. He went on to say that he really enjoyed the
experience though and would happy to come back. Which he did, in 2018’s Ant-Man and the
Wasp. However, the actor is 74 years old now and
says that his Marvel chapter has closed. 4) In at number 4 is Terrance who once played
War Machine. Turns out he was actually fired from the role
and it was then given to Don Cheadle. Apparently Howard wasn’t pleased with the
suggested pay cut for starring in the Iron Man sequel. During an interview on Watch What Happens
Live, he called out his co-star Robert Downey Jr. for stealing his spotlight. He said, and I quote, “it turns out that
the person I helped become Iron Man….. when it was time to re-up for the second one, he
took the money that was supposed to go to me and pushed me out”. He also went on to say that Marvel Executives
said the sequel will be successful with or without him and offered to pay him one-eighth
of his original salary. Howard still remains bitter, but continued
to move on with his acting career. It’s safe to say he will remain out of the
MCU. 3) In at number 3 we have Chris Evans, also
known for being the cap, Captain America. This was heartbreaking news for everyone who
watched Avengers Endgame, as we had to give another final goodbye to one of our originals. At the end of the Endgame movie, he decides
to travel back in time and live out his life with the love of his life, Peggy. An older future version of Captain America
hands over his shield to Falcon, confirming with us that it is he who will be the NEW
Captain America. This was all perfect timing for Chris Evans
contract which also came to an end this year. A tribute for the captain was included at
the end of the movie and let me tell you, it was a painful goodbye. 2) Here we are at number 2 with Gwyneth Paltrow,
also known as Iron Man’s wife Pepper Potts. Even before her final performance in Avengers
Endgame, she made it clear to the public that she was done with the MCU after this final
movie. She speaks highly of her experience with the
franchise but says in an Interview with Variety, I quote, “I mean, I’m a bit old to be
in a suit and all that at this point”. The 46 year old actress says she would come
back if they needed her for a day, but that her time with the MCU has come to an end. After watching the final movie, we get more
confirmation that her story is really ending, when she loses her tie to the whole franchise,
Iron Man. 1) Which brings us to number 1 with Robert
Downey Jr, aka Iron Man. Yes, the legendary hero that we’ve admired
all these years died in Avengers Endgame and broke the hearts of millions of fans. He too admitted in an interview that his contract
with Marvel was up in 2019 but fans were hoping he would renew it. Killing Iron Man is an easy way to write off
the character, but we were all hoping that wouldn’t happen. During an interview with Bustle, the actor
made a joke about his departure from the franchise and said “I just want to hang up my jersey
before it’s embarrassing”. Marvel fans could never get sick of the actor
playing Iron Man and we all know there’s no one who could replace him. Alright guys, there’s our list of actors
who are no longer in the MCU. Let me know what you guys think of the list
down in the comments and give it a thumbs up if you like it. Although, I can understand why you might not
since I just named all of your favourite characters who are no longer in the MCU. BUT, let’s continue to remember the good
times. Don’t forget to subscribe before you go,
I’m your host Joce and I’ll see you next time.

  1. Tony Stark can never be replaced with a nother. Iron Man is loved by all and will be missed. Thanks for all the great work. You have earned the right to retire. Take care and God bless you and your family in your future endeavors.

  2. Since black widow wasn't on this list I'll assume that they'll (MCU) find someway to bring her back into the fold

  3. nooooo this cant be pepper potts and tony stark will be no longer in MCU😭😭😭😭😭

  4. Captain america and iron man and black widow GOOD BYE FOREVER AND FOREVER!!!!😭😭😭

  5. This movie was so sad I only wanted to see it once….I will buy the BlueRay! to add to my collection of movies and shows in the MCU..

  6. Nooooo the avengers won’t be the same with all the actors gone, this is sad 😞 😞😞😞

  7. Tony Stark aka Ironman is legendary. In real life, Ironman is the first to really make millions for Marvel and their saviour during their 'dark times', and in Endgame movie, he has to sacrifice his life for others to live😒 Gonna miss u lots Ironman & Robert Downey Jr. So does Chris Evans as Capt America😒 Chris Hemsworth might be in Guardians of Galaxy.. hope to see you again Thor

  8. Reason she didn't put Scarlett Johansson/Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff. Cuz she has one more movie to do which will be her solo movie. '' Black Widow ''

  9. I'm going to miss Chris Evans as Captain America. But I'm glad that Cap & Peggy finally got their Happy Ever After. πŸ’• They deserve it.

  10. I very much miss ROBERT DOWNEY JR 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

  11. Iron Man may be out. Put another new hero, Sherlock Holmes in MCU πŸ˜‚. Of course, RDJ playing it. Ability is… all fighting skills, detective and can see the future too

  12. Until there comes a time that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is over, I am not 100% convinced that we should say we will not see these characters again. For one reason, they've not confirmed 100% that they wouldn't return (unlike Hugh Jackman who stated that Logan would be his final X-Men film). Also, Bob Iger stated that just because they are going to focus on adding new characters to the series doesn't mean this will be the last we see of these characters. After all, they are planning on sequels for Thor: Ragnorak, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Ant Man and the Wasp, not to mention a series based on the character Loki. Once again, I am not stating this is right or wrong, I am just pointing out we should stay a little optimistic before we jump to conclusions. After all, as Stan Lee always said, "There are many stories to tell".

  13. Wasn't it confirmed that Thor will be in Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3? Or was that just a fan theory?

  14. It would be cool if Megan takes up her father ironman suite and inside will be her father leading her to greatness and giving her advise that would be so cool to when the suite be transformed as a holograph and her dad help Morgan to become the next ironwoman

  15. Marvel will never be the same without Mr Lee..one of these actors said they were done with all of it because Stan is no longer with them. I don't blame them its not going to be the same without him..R I P mr lee

  16. What I enjoy most..is how this universe hates..tero gig apart of the journey is the end! Most of all thanos was right..as long as there are those that remember what was, they'll never accept what could be…it's end game for a reason..but I love it 3000 great job herosπŸ€˜βœŠπŸ‘ŠπŸ€™πŸ€

  17. What! Chris Evans is no longer in the MCU! NO. THAT CAN'T BE TRUE! THERE'S GOTTA BE SOME MOSTAKE. RIGHT! I just want to see him one last time.

  18. RIP iron man😞😞😞😞😞😞πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™ hes my 2nd favorite super hero

  19. These guys all sign contracts for a certain number of films, and no matter how much money you get paid, if you're typecast into one role, it might take the joy out of acting. I hope to see all of them in other more complex dramatic roles.

  20. Gonna really miss Tony Starks witty banter and humour. Same as Captain America they were the original O,G's-

  21. i like captain america movies vibe..a bit serious and witty here and there. i hope they make at least one franchise that has that vibe again.

i hate to see all franchise become over hillarious in vibe and trying so hard to be funny.

i hope its black widow or winter soldier franchise 🀞

  22. Honestly don't care lol their not my favourite Marvel characters i guess that's why i didn't care for the avengers movie (any of them)

  23. Hawkeye and Loki have a Disney plus series coming , black widow has a prequel , and Thor has an 4th movie coming in phase 4

  24. Nooooo MCU if you don't bring back those charetchers people will become DC fans BC ruining MCU timeline will not make you movies famous no more

  25. "Apart" huh? This reads more like editorial than news. I mean you actually say Gwyneth Paltrow is done. But that she said she would come back for a day. Then you say she loses her tie to the MCU that tie being Iron Man. Um, you do know the daughter is set to be in Phase 4 right? You also know Pepper is the head of the company that funds the Avengers right? This blog is about 90% speculation scripted by and perform by people clearly unfamiliar with the genre.
