It’s 2020 soon.
So I decided to make a calendar! First, I got seven good sheets of watercolor paper. I went to the store and asked them to tie this paper like a book. Cut the paper in half and spring it up. It’s become a watercolor notebook! I’m always thrilled to see a white paper with infinite possibilities. I divided 7 pages in half, so I’ve got 14 in total. I’ll draw from January to December. First, from March! Because it’s 3sibo! I’m gonna use the watercolors. March reminds me of flowers. I want to make this picture look transparent. So lightly painted the color. I drew the character’s eyes first, using the darkest color. In my experience, if I draw character illustration… It was important to draw eye, nose and mouth features without mistakes. And to do that, it’s not like any other painting. It’s cleaner and easier to draw shapes at once. I’ll leave a lot of sparkles in her eyes, and I’ll color her later. The character’s pose is the signature pose of three sibo YouTube ! 1 and 5 with fingers! (In Korean, the meaning of sibo is 15~) 3, 1, 5! Perfect from the start. It’s become a very important painting. Clapping. (Clapping three) Now I’ll draw clothes and flowers. If you keep drawing characters, the painting won’t finish. If you want to finish the painting quickly, it’s better to draw the whole picture without any gaps. I’m a little sad that the flowers and the hair color are the same. But it’s not bad that there’s unity. The other side of the picture will be the calendar. I drew a square to write the date. I used a ruler to draw the right line. I just used a pink pen, but it doesn’t look good on the picture. I think it doesn’t look good even if I draw flowers on top. So I put them in the color used in the picture. It’s better, right? Next is December. December is winter! Christmas! I’ll take advantage of the Nordic pattern that comes to mind at Christmas. a Nordic pattern that mainly uses triangles. Zigzag to draw the line! I drew snowflakes and Christmas flower poinsettias on the top row. I drew a reindeer in the lower row and an SD character in the middle. Because it’s a pattern, I think the more it repeats the pattern, the better. The remaining space is decorated with Christmas trees and diamonds. I think it would be better if the colors were different on each row. One by one, it’s crooked, but when we see it together, it looks like it’s a mix. Isn’t this the charm of pattern painting? Especially, it is hand picture, not computer picture. It’s natural that it’s not the same! Even if it’s not clean, let’s just relax and get it done. If the calendar is all a character picture, I’d be a little disappointed. I’m going to draw a picture of food. I think October is the perfect month for food pictures! I was thinking about which one to choose between hot soup or dessert. I think dessert is easier to draw than soup. I painted figs, green grapes, kiwis, blackberries, etc. Black, like Blackberry, is not as hard to paint as it is. I think it’s hard to paint white like whipped cream that looks real. I tried to draw it as close to the goal as I could. In the beginning, I didn’t like it because I thought I had failed. But I didn’t give up. I kept drawing. Fortunately, the results seem to be pretty good. Color pencil is a good material because you can draw easily when you get used to it. The problem is, it takes too long. I still have nine paintings to draw… I’m gonna run the video a little faster. You can mix the paint and make the color you want. But color pencil is hard to mix. By adjusting the hand’s force, you can express the light and dark colors. But if you relax and draw, it leaves the paper feeling intact. That’s what crayons and colored pencils do. How do I adjust it? I still don’t know. January painting will be the beginning of 2020. I’ve been wanting to paint it the grandest. I wanted to dress my character in a fancy dress. I found the most colorful clothes in the Hanbok file. Hanbok is a traditional Korean dress. This is what the bride wears on her wedding day. Material books are really useful in times like this. It’s good to find and use a lot of data. Bada (Sea) sat leisurely in Hanbok! The place where she sits is the Korean Peninsula! It’s like a giant goddess, isn’t it? In old Korean stories, it is often said ‘when a tiger smoked’. Also, Koreans think of the Korean Peninsula as a tiger. There’s also a story about the woman god who created the world. I’d like to draw this huge human series later on. This picture feels like a go board. February is going to be a landscape painting. Because I want to draw a variety of paintings. Shadows on the parking lot under a bridge! I think it’s convenient to draw shadows in watercolors. Because it can produce glazing effects, multiplication layer effects. Once you draw a shadow, you can put the color you want on it. It’s easy and fast to finish the painting! If it’s a colored pencil, it’s hard to draw a whole lot of this. If it’s acrylic, if it’s painted transparently instead of white, It’ll have the same effect as watercolors. Oil painting is the origin of glazing, so maybe it’s the most suitable material. I want to try oil painting someday. But it takes a lot of time. I drew a column on the calendar. I’d like to draw a shadow on the side. I’d like to put the shadow in the Friday part. (Because Friday is the day of uploading the three-sibo tube!) The farther between the shadows and the pillars, I have to express the strong light coming from the sides. So I had to put a shadow on between Thursday and Friday. In June, I have to paint the color blue with water I started painting on top of it with colored pencils. I’ve got a base of blue lights, a pink light coming in from the bottom left. It’s designed to give us a clear blue sky outside the building. It’s summer, so the blue night picture is perfect. It’s blue, but it’s changed color by light. It’s a lot more fun to draw, and the results look good. The night view is behind the scenes! I drew it in April using a brush pen. This pen was made to write an Oriental style. So it’s hard to control the concentration of color. I just used a wet brush together to control the concentration. When you draw a mountain far away, you can put water on it and make the black light. Big Point is the big paper airplane that flies in the sky! I’ll draw a light SD character in July. The color is pastel tone, based on yellow, blue, and pink. I used a little purple. In the background, flowers, leaves, stems, and potions are drawn in a circle. Eureka’s magic potion is a perfect item! This calendar is divided into circles and flowers. I’ve just had my eraser stamped out. I drew a figure with a black pen on top of it. I’ve done whatever I want. After drawing a line with a black pen, I’ve painted one color I’ll paint it again with a black pen. Similarly, even with monochrome and black melodies, This one feels different from the one I painted earlier. The previous painting was depicted with a line on top of the color, but this painting expressed light and shade in color on the line. This time, I’ve dropped the gap between the compartments and added a three-dimensional feel. Last one was in September. September is fall! Fall is fall. Seasonal paintings look good on the calendar. I’ve tried this and that to save time… I think familiar materials are the best. That’s why I came back to the watercolors. The advantage of being able to make and use the color I want is great. Complete the calendar making with a total of twelve pictures! What schedule should I write here? I’ve got a good idea! Three-sibo YouTube subscribers’ birthdays! I think it will be a very meaningful calendar! Please write in the comments on your birthday! See you next week then!
